Technical Program Manager



The TLS team is growing as we are expanding our core business and creating more laser solutions for our customers.


During this growth we've opened up this Technical Program Management (TPM) role which is a key position in our company. The primary function of this role is to manage all laser tool machine builds, all the way from kickoff through to machine deployment.


We are looking for an individual who possess a meticulous, organized and disciplined personality, combined with a technical mind for managing complex machine integration projects. The TPM will not only manage key projects with a positive attitude but also help the TLS team build streamlined processes & systems to better track, manage and collaborate. Self-starter with a sense of urgency who can remain calm under pressure a plus.

Job Requirements:

  • Technical (STEM) background with Bachelors degree or great

  • Industrial experience 1-5 years

  • MRP familiarity 

  • Project Management experience 3-5 years

  • Experience with planning, work orders and buying

  • Great written and verbal business communication skills

  • Excellent facilitation skills


Job Responsibilities

  • Project management for laser tool builds

  • Developing systems within the company for project management

  • Project budget and resource management

  • Supporting sales with developing quotations

  • Keeping projects on track

  • Coordinating with suppliers, customers and TLS team

  • Managing the teams hours, tasks and responsibilities

  • Building a culture of accountability, responsibility and discipline

  • Scheduling of projects across the technical team
